Policies and Procedures: 

Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances:

The pet is fit and healthy. Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health/skin problems for which the company cannot be held liable. It is the owner’s responsibility to inform Fannie’s House Call Pet Grooming Inc. of any medical conditions that may be impacted by grooming.

The pet’s rabies vaccine must be up to date unless a recent titer test is provided (as required by law).

In the event of an emergency, the client authorizes Fannie’s House Call Pet Grooming to contact a veterinarian and authorizes the vet to treat the pet as necessary at the client’s expense.

Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, check, Zelle, or credit card. Be aware that credit card transactions will incur a $5 processing fee per transaction.

Our minimum stop fee is $100. Minimum haircut charge is $120 per dog, for the average 1.5-hr groom.

Not all pets will be charged at the default rate; charges for your specific pet will be agreed on prior to grooming.

Any sign of fleas will incur an additional $50 cleaning fee and the pet must be treated by a veterinarian in order to book any future services. We highly urge you to place your dogs on a monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

De-matting is at the discretion of the groomer and in some instances may incur an additional charge. Complete coat removal by shaving a heavily pelted coat will dramatically alter your pet’s appearance. It can cause skin irritations (such as ear hematomas and hot spots) and/or expose pre-existing skin conditions for which the company cannot be held liable.

Appointment times have a 30-minute arrival window. As we are working with living beings with agendas of their own and navigating island traffic, if another appointment causes a significant delay of more than 30 minutes you will be notified by text.

Cancellation/rescheduling of an appointment requires 24-hour notice to waive the full appointment fee.

From time to time, Fannie’s House Call Pet Grooming may film or photograph the grooming process for promotional purposes. I give my consent for use of said footage of my dog’s grooming in my home, for stated purposes, as well as using pictures of my pet for social media.
